向山日添神楽 について

Mukoyama-Hizoe has a Shiratori Shrine and a Jodo Shinshu temple, Shozenbo, in the district, and together with the neighbouring settlements of Mukoyama-Hitoe and Otena, is known as Mukoyama San-gumi. The Shiratori Shrine is the clan deity of all three Mukoyama clans, but the rituals are carried out separately.
The origins of kagura in Mukaiyama can be traced back to 400 years ago, when Shichiza Shichizaemon, a resident of Kuranosako in Hitto, studied under Isemochi Isemori from Takachiho, and spent three years and three months performing kagura. Even today, there are many similarities between the two festivals, as they coordinate so that the dates of the festivals do not overlap, and there are many mutual dedications of dances.

Date of festival First Saturday to Sunday, 1 December
Place Mukaiyama Hizoe Shukai Centre 'Minekoshi no Yakata'.
