About the Shiiba Folk Performing Arts Museum
The Shiiba Folk Performing Arts Museum is a specialised museum that provides an overview of the unique folk culture of Shiiba Village and also covers the folk performing arts of Kyushu and Asia at large. The museum, which has four floors above ground and one below, introduces the rituals and customs handed down in Shiiba Village and the legend of the Heike Rakunin, together with displays of folk tools, ritual implements and photographs.
