The origin of the Onena Kagura is said to be that Iwami Tayu learnt it from Kuraza Shichizaemon of Mukoyama Hitto.
They are the clan members of Shiratori Shrine in Mukaiyama Hizoe, and they visit the shrine before the kagura, perform the second kagura performance (Ichikagura and Daikagura) and welcome their hair.
