村椎神楽 について

"●Holidays Saturday and Sunday around 15 December
Place Shimofukura Aza-ma Kashiwabara, Tsuji, Murashii Private houses
Number of kagura turns 22

The kagura inn rotates on a yearly basis. In the past, two houses, the former house and the old house, took over. If a misfortune happens to a kagura inn, that year's kagura is cancelled. The kagura masks are kept in a house called village shi no saki. A leader called Shi-sho plays the role of Priest, and the dancers are called Houriko. A banner is erected in the garden of the kagura inn and a shimen is strung. A high heaven is built in front of the Mikamiya. Five white staffs are set up on top of a container of rice seeds from the inn, and an offering stand is placed in front of it. The four sides of the shrine are covered with shimen and akamaku (red curtains), and twelve eremes, sakaki-ha (sakaki leaves) and gohei (sacred staff) are hung along one side. A bag-shaped central staff is hung from the central ceiling, and money is placed inside for the number of months, and a linen cord is lowered. A grand festival is held in the year when a wish for a shimen is made by the shrine's clansmen. Straw snakes also appear at this time."
