大宝の注連 について

The Daiho no Shigen is only erected when there is wish-fulfilment. A wish fulfilment is, for example, when a person makes a wish to be cured of an illness and the wish is granted. When the shimen of the great treasure is erected, it is called the 'Great Festival of the Shimen' and masked dancers, such as demons and Arakami, go out of doors and dance around the shimen. In terms of form, it can be regarded as a primitive shrine to welcome the divine spirits. In the Takeno-Edao, the 'Shuren-hiki Onin' is performed, in which Onin pulls a red and white cloth extending from the shimen of the moon's number of great treasures. At Otenao, the demon people can be seen dancing around the shimen of the great treasure and worshipping in all directions. As the custom of setting up the shimen of Ootara has almost disappeared, it is set up once every four years in Tsugao and Okochi, and annually in Takenoedao and Junegawa, as a way of preserving and passing on the tradition. The shimen of the Ohoho in Otenao was restored in 1994 for the production of visual materials. It is the same shape as the one in Mukaiyama Hizoe, which was erected in 1981 as a wish-fulfilment.
