松尾の大イチョウ について

A large ginkgo tree estimated to be 700 years old in Shimomatsuo, Oaza Matsuo, Shiiba Village. The tree is 31.2 m tall and has a root circumference of 4.98 m. More than 15 large and small aerial roots called chidare are growing from the trunk towards the base. It was designated a natural monument by Miyazaki Prefecture on 28 February 1969.
