神楽のえりもの について

Kirigami, known as erimono, are decorated around the shimen of the Mikouya, the dance hall. In Tsugao, the names of deities such as 'Tsugao Shrine', 'Inari no Taimeijin' and 'Fire God' are cut out, and in addition to these, the figures of 'Bush warbler in plum tree' in the east, 'Pawn in bamboo grass' in the south, 'Deer in autumn leaves' in the west and 'Oshidori in pond' in the north are decorated, while 'Torii' and 'Sun and Moon star' are made in the centre. Takenoedao is almost the same as Tsugao, but decorated in the west-centre with carvings with the divine names of "Amaterasu Ojingu", "Hachiman Daijin" and "Kasuga Daimyoujin" cut into them. Other carved carvings from various regions are displayed on the ceiling.
