神楽の採物 について

Tools held in the hand when dancing in kagura. In Shiiba Kagura, there are many types of pickings in particular: in addition to bells, there are gohei, swords, bows, arrows, tasuki, obi, orihiki, trays and so on. There are many types of mohi, including the ookami mohi of the Ogamimai dance, the inari mohi of the Inari dance, the gyuuto mohi of the Ushitotenno dance and the okie mohi of the Okie no mai dance. The gohei of the fire god dance is seen to be offered to the fire god enshrined in the kitchen of the kagura inn after the dance. Some of these mohi take the form of puppets. It is customary for villagers to take the mohi home with them after the Kagura performance and display them on the long banister in the tatami room known as the dei no ma.
